MeetWork — Documentation

MeetWork is an AI meeting interpreter for Zoom. Connect your Zoom account once, and a clearly named interpreter bot joins your meetings automatically to provide live translated captions, voice interpretation and meeting minutes.

1. Adding the App

Anyone with a Zoom account can add MeetWork — no invitation required. There is no software to install.

  1. Open the app landing page: meet.ihive.work/zoom-landing (or click Add on our Zoom App Marketplace listing).
  2. Enter your email address and click Send code. We email you a 6-digit sign-in code, valid for 10 minutes. Your MeetWork account is created automatically the first time you sign in.
  3. Enter the code and click Sign in.
  4. Click “⚡ Connect Zoom Account”. You will be redirected to Zoom's OAuth consent page listing the requested permissions (read your user profile, read meeting details, read a user's token so the assistant can join on your behalf, and meeting-started notifications).
  5. Click Allow. You will be redirected back to MeetWork with a “Zoom connected” confirmation.

That's it — no software to install. Having trouble? See the troubleshooting guide.

2. Usage

Automatic join (prerequisite: Zoom account connected). Whenever you start a Zoom meeting as host, the MeetWork interpreter bot joins within ~10 seconds as a visible participant. If your meeting uses a waiting room, admit the bot.

Live translated captions (prerequisite: bot is in the meeting). Open the caption page from your dispatch page and choose your language (Chinese, Japanese, English, Korean, Spanish, French, German). Everyone in the meeting can open their own caption page and read speech in the language they choose, with speaker names and timestamps.

Voice interpretation (prerequisite: bot is in the meeting). Speak in your own language and the bot can voice your words in the target language inside the meeting, so participants who don't share a language can talk naturally.

Meeting minutes (no setup needed). After each meeting ends, a structured summary (topics, decisions, action items) is generated automatically and attached to the meeting record on your dispatch page.

Slack / Zapier delivery (optional; prerequisite: configure once on the Integrations page). Meeting minutes are pushed to your chosen Slack channel or Zapier hook automatically after each meeting.

Manual dispatch (works without connecting Zoom). Paste any Zoom meeting link on the dispatch page and the bot joins that single meeting.

3. Removing the App

You can remove MeetWork in either of two ways:

  1. From MeetWork: on your dispatch page, click Disconnect Zoom. Your stored OAuth tokens are deleted immediately and the bot stops joining your meetings.
  2. From Zoom: sign in to the Zoom web portal, go to Marketplace > Manage > Added Apps, find MeetWork and click Remove.

What happens on de-authorization: MeetWork receives Zoom's de-authorization notification and deletes your stored OAuth tokens immediately; the bot will no longer join your meetings. Meeting recordings and transcripts already stored are automatically deleted after 14 days; to have them removed sooner, email team@ihive.work and they will be deleted within 7 days.
